We’re wrapping up the year with a final Sunday session in the laneway.

On Sunday 21 December, Casual Affairs returns with a takeover from Genie Wines showcasing her new vintage and curating the soundtrack for an easy, sunlit afternoon at Bar Lina.

In the kitchen, we’re keeping it relaxed and familiar: all your Bar Lina favourites, plus a special snack or two for the day.

Nothing complicated, just good food, good wine, and good company.

A laid-back way to ease into the holidays, glasses in hand.

ASADO SUNDAY'S

EVERY SUNDAY LUNCH

Every Sunday, Bar Lina lays the table for a feast built around the Iberian tradition of the asado.

At the centre our Portuguese-style suckling pig, slow cooked for 12 hours with herbs, spices, and a touch of orange until the skin crackles and the meat simply falls apart.

But this is more than just a roast, it’s a full spread. Small plates to start, the star of the show shared with sides, and something sweet to finish. A long, generous banquet designed for friends, family, and flowing wine. The kind of Sunday lunch that stretches into evening

Bar Lina’s getting a little loose. Casual Affairs is our new Sunday ritual, long afternoons filled with music, small plates, and flowing wine.

First up, a pintxos-style spread inspired by the Basque Country: one hand snacks, big flavours, and that golden Sunday haze drifting through the room.

Nothing serious, just a Casual Affair.

This Father’s Day, skip the roast and dive into a steaming pot of arroz de marisco, (seafood rice) brimming with fresh seafood and rich, coastal flavours.

Perfect for two, it’s the kind of dish made for lingering over with a good glass of wine.

Bringing the little ones? We’ve got them sorted with a chicken burger and chips so everyone’s happy.
